About Our Church
Hope 4 Life is a Spirit-Filled Gospel Preaching Church. We are a multi-generational body of believers, serving the people of Abilene and the Big Country since 1963, we are dedicated to the person and purposes of Jesus Christ in our personal lives and in our areas of influence.
It is our desire to see each believer find their place of service fulfillment in the Body of Christ and live the optimal Kingdom life that Jesus has for them!
Ministry
Hope 4 Life has been honored to serve the people of Abilene, TX and the surrounding area since its chartering in September of 1963 as “North Park Foursquare Church” then later as “Hope Chapel” Located on Rebecca Ln just minutes from Dyess Airforce Base and the Mall of Abilene we are dedicated to seeing the Kingdom of God advance and to helping each individual member of Christ’s body find thier God ordained destiny.
We meet Sunday School 9:15am, Sunday mornings 10:30am,Wednesday 6:30pm and Fridays 7:00pm. See our Calendar for a full list of our gathering options.
We support and give to mission works across the globe. We help an orphanage in Zambia that feeds and educates hundreds of children. We support an amazing ministry in Croatia and a ministry that travels broadside worldwide supporting numerous missionaries and we support local mission work and work in Israel.
As part of Foursquare, we are part of a ministry that is focused on preaching the gospel and discipleship, currently in 157 countries, where thousands are saved per year, thousands filled with the Holy Spirit per year and thousands responding to the call of God for minstry. And as far as disaster relief, have responded to 28 global nations, 9 U.S. States, serving 1,857 medical patients and mobilizing over 200 certified disaster responders.
Mission Statement/(Statement of Faith)
Called to be salt and light to all the world, we will not wait passively for the lost and dying to come to us.
- We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, His Sacrifice, His Blood, His Death, His Burial, His Resurrection, His Return, His Eternal Reign Forever, Amen.
- We will extend our hands to all people, offering opportunity for meaningful, loving relationship and entry into the Family of God through the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ.
- We will examine and identify the needs of our culture and reach out to our community offering effective, Bible-based solutions in our worship services as well as extra educational venues.
- We will be strategic and intentional about maintaining cultural relevancy, becoming all things to all people that by all means we might save some.
